Steve Miller isĀ  an editor with MindFlights magazine, recognized by Writer’s Digest as one of the “Top 100 Markets for Magazine and Book Writers” (Writer’s Yearbook 2009). He has critiqued more than five hundred short stories for the magazine. He was also a Content Editor at Lilley Press.

An author in his own right, his fiction includes speculative fiction in The Sword Review, humor in The Wittenburg Door, and science fiction in Ray Gun Revival. His nonfiction includes a devotional that appears in The One Year Life Verse, a personal experience in Michigan Out-of-Doors, and articles how to write software in the old magazines SQL Server Professional, Oracle Developer, FoxPro Advisor, and FoxTalk.

He has taught at the North Texas Christian Writers Conference since 2006, and has been on the critique panel for the Dallas Area Writers Group.

Steve has a B.A. in Linguistics from Michigan State University. His course work included Chinese, Spanish, and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL).

Steve is the father of three sons and the husband of one wife. His interests include swimming, playing the bass guitar, and making smoothies.
